On Thursday March 6, MIT hosted a gathering to to celebrate the life of Charles M. Vest, MIT’s 15th President, and to express to his family how much Chuck meant to MIT — as a leader, a colleague, and a friend.
The event included two gatherings:
A Memorial Service in Kresge Auditorium
And
A Community Reception and Portrait Unveiling in the Stata Center along the now named,
“Charles M. Vest Student Street”.
